S.P. Morton Elementary School will be closed on Tuesday, May 23, according to a news release from Franklin City Public Schools.

School division officials asked parents to stand by for further announcements.

This closure does not impact Joseph P. King Jr. Middle School or Franklin High School.

S.P. Morton had an early dismissal on Monday, May 22, at 1 p.m. due to a power outage.
