The Meherrin Elementary School students in Anita McGee-Cross and Amy Hinson’s morning remediation groups enjoyed a diner-themed reading and math cumulative review just in time for the upcoming Virginia Standards of Learning examinations. 

An MES news release noted that the students were able to team up to work through the activities, solving problems and reviewing content. 

What diner-themed activity would be complete without a little breakfast to go along with it? The activity concluded with donuts. 

“Great job, Meherrin students and teachers!” school officials said. “Best of luck on the SOLs!”
