COURTLAND – Nancy Bailey Turner, 75, passed away Aug. 9, 2023, in Sentara Obici Hospital. Born in Norfolk and raised in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Forrest Watson and Ethel Hobbs Watson. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Kenneth Bailey and her brother, Arthur Thomas Hobbs.

Nancy was a 1966 graduate of Windsor High School.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 42 years, Meredith Aubrey Turner Jr.; her son, Brian Kenneth Bailey and his wife, Mandy and a grandson, Ryne Wilson Bailey.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13 in Wright Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Foreman officiating. The family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
