Students learn to ‘Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally’

Practically everyone who went through elementary school math classes had to learn the phrase “Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally” to remember a concept called Order of Operations.
A Nottoway Elementary School news release noted that the fifth-grade class at the school was able to soak up some vitamin D while its members practiced their PEMDAS as they took to the sidewalks with chalk and task cards.
“Keep working hard, fifth grade!” school officials stated. “Practice makes perfect!”
