COURTLAND – Casandras (Cassie) Ricks of Courtland, Virginia departed his earthly life on Oct. 22, 2023. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12 – 7 p.m. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Zion Southampton A.M.E Zion Church, 17121 Wakefield Road, Courtland, Virginia 23837 with the Rev. Dr. Christopher Eason delivering the eulogy. The committal and benediction will follow in the church cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to the church building fund.
