The students and staff of Meherrin Elementary School recently welcomed some very special guests into the building: grandparents.
A school news release stated that in honor of Grandparent’s Day, the school had a week-long celebration, inviting the grandparents of specific grade levels to come in each day and dine with their grandchildren.
The school hosted approximately 200 special guests.
“Thank you to all who participated in this treasured event!” MES officials stated.
