Police searching for identified suspect in Oct. 30 Franklin shooting

The City of Franklin Police Department is searching for an identified suspect in a shooting that took place Monday, Oct. 30, at Dorchester Square Apartments.
A news release from the department noted that on Oct. 30, FPD officers were dispatched to the area of the 1600 block of Dorchester Street, Dorchester Square Apartments, for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, it was discovered that several vehicles and an apartment building had been damaged by gunfire, police said.
Investigation of the incident resulted in De’vian Tymel Worthy being identified as a suspect, the release stated, adding that Worthy is described as a Black male, 24 years of age, about 6 feet 5 inches tall, weighing around 195 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Police stated that Worthy is wanted for shooting into an occupied dwelling, for being a felon in possession of a firearm, for attempted aggravated malicious wounding, and for use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
This investigation is ongoing.
