Franklin City Public Schools, Southampton County Public Schools and Southampton Academy have all announced that they will be operating on a two-hour delay Wednesday, Jan. 10.
FCPS stated that due to inclement weather and flooding, it will have a two-hour delayed opening.
SCPS noted on its Facebook page that due to the impact of Tuesday’s weather and “due to adverse road conditions and power issues impacting our region,” the school division will operate on a two-hour delay Wednesday.
“Any further, negative impacts to our ability for a safe or fully functional school day will be announced as soon as possible,” SCPS officials stated in the same Facebook post.
Southampton Academy announced on its Facebook page that it will also operate on a two-hour delay Wednesday due to the effects from Tuesday night’s storm, and there will be no morning care.
