The Southampton County Sheriff’s Office recently congratulated Sgt. James K. Story, Deputy Matthew C. Porter and Deputy Timothy J. Mason (who was also nominated as class president) on their graduation from the Crater Criminal Justice 101st Basic Law Enforcement Academy. Sheriff Josh A. Wyche, Sr. had this to say, “Deputy Mason gave an excellent speech to his fellow classmates, their families, and the academy staff. I know each of you will bring much to the table, keeping in the highest standards set forth at this agency. We add our thanks and sincere congratulations to all.
