WINSTON-SALEM, North Carolina – Edwin L. “Ed” Barnes, 86, of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 7, 2024. A service of remembrance honoring Ed and his wife, Shirley, who died Dec. 18, 2023, will be held on Saturday, April 6, at 2 p.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount Airy, North Carolina.
