COURTLAND – Deaconess Silvester R. Joe, of Courtland passed away on Feb. 19, 2024 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 3 – 7 p.m. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, Feb. 24, at 1 p.m. at Triumph in Victory Christian Church, 207 North County Drive in Wakefield with the pastor, Rev. E.B. Perry delivering the eulogy. Deaconess Joe will be interred at Albert G. Horton Veterans Cemetery, to be scheduled for a later date. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm.
