To the Editor:
Franklin Cooperative Ministry would like to express our deep appreciation to everyone who participated in this year’s Community Lenten Services. Our staff, board members and volunteers enjoyed participating in this time of preparation leading up to Easter; spending time in midweek worship does a body good!
The Community Lenten Services allow us to worship and fellowship with our neighbors, which we enjoy immensely. A lot of work goes into hosting and meal preparation, and Franklin Congregational Christian, Emmanuel Episcopal, Fellowship Around the Word, Franklin Baptist, St. Jude, High Street, Sycamore Baptist and Hunterdale Christian outdid themselves this year. We appreciate the time and talents that they invest and we are honored to announce that $2,140.25 was raised for FCM through weekly love offerings. We are blessed by the strong community support that allows FCM to thrive – we have met 1026 requests for assistance so far this year!
Thank you to all of our neighbors for participating in such a special community event. We couldn’t do what we do without your support!
Margaret Anne C. Smith
