Public’s help sought in solving 2022 murder in Franklin

The Franklin Police Department has obtained an enhanced image of a possible suspect vehicle believed to have been involved in the apparent fatal shooting of a teenager in Franklin in 2022. The FPD is seeking the public’s assistance in providing new leads stemming from the image.
A Friday, April 12, FPD news release stated that on Nov. 1, 2022, Ronnie “Boosie” Everette Jr., 17, was found deceased at the corner of Campbell Avenue and Gardner Street in the city of Franklin due to an apparent shooting incident.
Since his death, the FPD has continued to investigate.
Police said that during the initial investigation, camera footage was obtained of a vehicle believed to have been involved in the incident.
The release stated that detectives collaborated with the United States Secret Service, which worked to enhance the image.

“The department realizes that these pictures are not perfect, but we are hopeful these enhanced pictures will provide additional leads that will solve this case, bringing closure to a grieving family and justice for Boosie,” FPD officials said.
