Franklin High School had an Academic Awards assembly in March that also recognized a key athletic achievement and that preceded a Special Olympics basketball league game featuring the Franklin Broncos.
An FHS news release noted that awards at the assembly were presented to students who achieved honor roll or principal’s list for the first semester.
The FHS varsity boys basketball team was recognized for being named the 2024 Tri-Rivers District champion.
Following the awards assembly, students watched the Tri-Rivers Basketball League (Special Olympics) game between Franklin and Windsor.
Both the assembly and the game took place in the Peggy H. Wilkins Gymnasium at Franklin High School.
