IVOR – Irene Virginia Ott Ballard, of Ivor, passed away peacefully in her home on April 30, 2024.
Irene worked faithfully for Union Camp over 30 years. She retired and enjoyed her pool with her grandchildren and flowers. She also loved and served at Antioch Church as long as she was able.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 75 years Johnnie Ballard; children, J.W. Ballard (Anita), Dorothy Alphin (Ruffin); grandchildren, Lynne (Brandon), Allison (Fred), Jay (Ashley), Adam (Meredith), Anna (Dave) and Robbie (Laura) and 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel on Monday, May 6, at 2 p.m. Burial will be private in the Wakefield Cemetery. Condolences can
