Frank Hruska, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of South Hampton Roads, has partnered with Ynot Italian Restaurant of Virginia Beach to raffle a five-night, round-trip vacation to Italy for two.
The proceeds will benefit Habitat for Humanity.
For 13 years, Hruska and his wife, Diane, have enjoyed hundreds of lunches and dinners at Ynot’s Providence Road location, accumulating 50,000 points in Ynot’s rewards program – enough to win the trip. But rather than to themselves, they’ve decided to raffle it off.
Anyone can purchase a $20 ticket to win airfare, accommodations for two, a one-day Italian food tour and $500 of spending money, making this a trip of a lifetime to Naples, Italy. Travel arrangements will be made in coordination with a Ynot Italian designated travel agency.
“You can buy a ticket online at shrhabitat.org,” said Habitat SHR Director of Development & Communications Kathleen Petersen. “But we’re only selling 2,000 of them, so don’t wait.”
The winner’s name will be drawn on June 12 at 6 p.m. during Ynot Wednesday on the steps of the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Virginia Beach.
“You don’t have to be present to win,” Peterson said. “But come out and enjoy the band Brasswind and have some Ynot pizza. And, you can thank Frank personally for all the meals he ate because he is helping a cause so dear to him and allowing someone else to take advantage of all the points he generated.”
