Skip was a graduate of Franklin High School and worked in the local automotive dealerships and with Blake Ford for the last 25 plus years. He enjoyed NASCAR races and was a faithful fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a boy scout. He loved family gatherings with his family and friends.

At an early age Skip enjoyed reading the Bible and spent his life getting an understanding of the words and how they pertained to life. He was a strong believer and had found his home at Sedley Baptist Church where he enjoyed his fellowship with the Disciples Sunday School Class.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother and father, Joan and Bill Wolfe; brother, James (Audrey) Crawford; stepfather, Forrest (Lisha) Wolfe, Justin (David) Wolfe and stepsister, Wendy (Ray) Edwards; nieces and nephews, Ryan (Melissa) Wolfe, Peyton Wolfe, Michael (Alex) Drewry, Whitley and Jackson Smith, Ryland (Stephanie) Edwards; great-aunt Ciara and cousins in Chatham, Virginia; his uncle, Mike Wolfe and beloved stepuncle and aunt, Frankie and Sandra Edwards and dear friends, Diane and Blake Blythe.

We would like to express our deep appreciation to Consulate Nursing Home’s Blue Unit in Windsor, Virginia for their excellent care of Stuart during his last days. Also, to Sentara’s Hospice Group and wound care.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Sedley Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
