According to a press release from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), as of June 5, all lanes on Route 642 (Cobb Road) in Southampton County have reopened following the completion of culvert restoration work by VDOT. The release says the detour has been lifted, and lanes in both directions are open to traffic.
