FRANKLIN – Peggy Hill Toler, 81, born Nov. 10, 1942 in Franklin, passed from this life into eternity on June 20, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents, Sarah Vaughan Hill and Edward Carson Hill; siblings, Roy Hill, Mary Kitchen and Sarah Darden; loving husband, Ohel David Toler Jr. and four beloved dogs.

She was strong, funny, feisty; and loved cooking, holidays, words and dogs and was known by many for her catering business in Franklin. She loved her family fiercely and will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Joye Raikes (Steve) and Janine Eike (John); stepdaughter, Kristen Lowe (Michael) and five grandchildren, Tyler Raikes (Grace), Bryan Clifford, Ben Raikes (Katy), Liam and Cameron Lowe and great-granddaughter, Ruth Raikes and her wonderfully compassionate caregiver, Brooke Turner Gregory.

Thank you to the staff of Nayar Hospice for their care and support during our mother’s last days as she journeyed home to Jesus.

A memorial service will be held with a date and place to be determined.
