CARRSVILLE – Dorothy Rose Ferguson, 78, passed away June 25, 2024, in her sister’s home in Windsor. Born in Southampton County on Dec. 21, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Tizel and Anna Laura Joyner Ferguson.

Rose was a retired telephone operator for GTE.

Left to cherish her memory is a sister, Alice Ferguson and a nephew, Travis Butler.

Services will be private.
