NEWPORT NEWS – Clarence F. Ruffin of River Bend Court, Newport News, passed away on June 29, 2024. A public viewing for the former Franklin native will be held at the funeral home Sunday from 3 – 7 p.m. A celebration of love will be held on Monday, July 8, at 11 a.m. at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, 415 Stonewall Street with the Rev. Robin Ricks delivering the eulogy; Rev. C.M. Carter Sr. is the pastor. The committal and benediction will follow in Southview Cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
