FRANKLIN – Gertrude S. Watson, 88, of Washington Street, Franklin, transitioned from her earthly home to receive her eternal rest and peace on July 14, 2024. On Friday a public viewing will be held at the funeral home from 3 – 7 p.m. A celebration of love will be held on Saturday, July 20, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 318 Hall Street in Franklin, with the Rev. Marilyn Freeman delivering the message of hope; The Rev. Marcus Jennings is the pastor. The committal and benediction will follow in Southview Cemetery. The celebration will be live streamed via First Baptist Church Facebook page.
