Ashley Nicole Robertson, known to many as Nikki, is the 35-year-old daughter of Jerry and Susan Robertson. She was born in Franklin, grew up in Sedley, and for 15 years, she and her parents have been Courtland residents. They are active members of Sedley Baptist Church, where Nikki is a preschool Sunday School assistant teacher, has worked with the youth group and has held multiple positions with the Sedley Community Vacation Bible School. Since she was little, Nikki has had a passion for teaching and working with children. She has an associate degree and a certificate in early childhood development from Paul D. Camp Community College. From 2016-18, she was a substitute teacher at Grace’s Little Angels preschool. In 2017, she started working in the child care department at the James L. Camp Jr. Family YMCA and worked there until 2019. In 2020, she started working at Dollar Tree in Franklin and has been employed there for four years. She is anticipating and hoping to return to the career field of teaching in the future.

After losing two of her grandparents to cancer and witnessing various relatives and friends who have battled cancer, Nikki decided to make Relay for Life: The American Cancer Society as her platform.

Nikki is very passionate about volunteering around her community and at the fair, which she does regularly.

In her spare time, Nikki enjoys dancing, reading, singing and watching classic TV shows.
