CARRSVILLE – Brian Lee March, 68, passed away in Norfolk, Virginia on Aug. 23, 2024. Born in Suffolk, Virginia on June 26, 1956, he was reared in his beloved community of Carrsville, Virginia. He was a graduate of Windsor High School, where he played basketball for the late Tex Murray. He was a founding member of the Community Hunt Club where he hosted morning coffee gatherings. He was also an active member at Beaver Dam Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary Williams March; his loving wife of 46 years Susan Drake March; daughters, Kristin March Shaffer, Courtney March Berard, Kari Elizabeth Van Wassen; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a sister, Karen March Crawford and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will hold a visitation on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at Wright Funeral Home, 206 W. 4th Avenue in Franklin from 6 – 8 p.m. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with the Rev.
