FRANKLIN – Philip “Bud” Powell Jr., of Barrett Street, Franklin passed away Aug. 21, 2024, in Courtland Healthcare. On Thursday, a public viewing will be held at the funeral home from 3 – 7 p.m. A homegoing celebration will be Friday, Aug. 30, at 2 p.m. at East End Church of God, 410 East Street in Franklin with Pastor Terry Brown delivering the eulogy; Bishop S.D. Willis is the pastor. The committal and benediction will follow in Southview Cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
