SUFFOLK – Novis Edward Pearson, 83, passed away Sept. 3, 2024 in Sentara Obici Hospital. Born in Quantico, Virginia, he was a son of the late Gladys Pearson.

Novis was a construction surveying engineer and was the East Coast Dance Champion from 1958 to 1965. He also participated in drag racing from 1958-2023.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Mary Virginia Pearson; a son, Novis Edward Pearson II of Loudon County, Virginia and Mary’s children, Timmy, David and Terry Harris.
