DURHAM, North Carolina – Timothy L. Eley of Durham, North Carolina transitioned on Sept. 12, 2024 in Raleigh, North Carolina. A homegoing celebration for the Franklin native will be held at noon on Monday, Sept. 30, in the chapel of Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 South Main Street in Franklin, Virginia. The Rev. Jimmie Banks will deliver the eulogy. The committal and benediction will follow in Chapel Grove Church Cemetery in Windsor, Virginia.
