Meherrin Elementary School hosted its first family event of the year, Family Bingo Night, on Sept. 24. An MES news release noted that the school welcomed more than 100 students and guests to the event, giving away lots of books and prizes to the attendees. “The school would like to thank the staff for putting on such a fun event and to all who attended for coming out to show their support,” MES officials stated. One of Meherrin Elementary’s newest Eagles, Blake Richards, who is in pre-K, shows off his book and prizes from his win at Family Bingo Night in the photo.
