FRANKLIN – George E. Reid, of Pretlow Street, Franklin, Virginia departed this life on Sept. 30, 2024 in Lake Taylor Rehabilitation Center. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 3 – 7 p .m. On Saturday, Oct. 12, a homegoing celebration will be held at 2:30 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Rosewood Avenue in Franklin with the pastor, Dr. Anthony Goodwyn Sr. delivering the message of comfort.
