Registration is open for participation in Franklin Parks and Recreation/Camp25’s fourth annual Volleyball League, which is intended for Tidewater-area children ages 6-15.

“Our Volleyball League will provide an atmosphere for youth to learn about the great game of volleyball,” Camp25 Founder/Executive Director Eric Benton said.

The league is slated to run from late fall into early winter, with Sunday game dates of Nov. 3, 10, 17 and 24 and Dec. 1, 8 and 15. If needed, Dec. 22 will serve as a make-up date.

Game times on each date will be 1:30, 2:30, 3:30, 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.

The location of the league will be a gymnasium in Franklin, with the exact location to be announced.

A clinic is scheduled for Oct. 20 and will run from 2-5 p.m.

League practice dates are slated to be Wednesdays or Thursdays and will include Oct. 29 and 30, Nov. 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21 and Dec. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18 and 19.

There is a non-refundable registration fee, and the deadline for registration is Sunday, Oct. 20.
