EMPORIA – Paxton E. Hill of Railroad Avenue, Emporia, transitioned Oct. 19, 2024. On Tuesday, a public viewing will be held for the Southampton County native from 3 – 7 p.m. at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church, 628 Clay Street, Emporia. The celebration of life will be 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Greater Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. CaShawn Parker delivering the eulogy; the Rev. Carolyn Carey is the pastor.
