HOPEWELL – First Lady Catherine H. Cross of Hopewell, Virginia peacefully passed away in her home on Nov. 11, 2024. A public viewing will be held for the Franklin native at the funeral home from 1 – 2 p.m. on Friday. On Friday evening, the visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. at Word of Life Center, 2401 Boston Street, Hopewell, Virginia. A celebration of love will be Saturday, Nov. 16, at noon at Greater El Bethel Deliverance Center, 4324 Holland Road, Suffolk, Virgina, with Chief Apostle Richard H. Cross Sr. delivering the eulogy; Bishop Freda Cross is the pastor. The committal and benediction will follow in Southview Cemetery. Service provided by the p
