WINDSOR – Gerard Francis “Jerry” Casey Jr., 82, passed away peacefully Dec. 6, 2024 in his home surrounded by his family.

He served three years in the Army and when he re-enlisted he joined the U.S. Navy where he went on to serve for 21 years retiring in 1983 as a Boiler Tech Chief.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Carolyn T. Casey; his children, Ricky E. White, Earnestine R. White and Terry L. Casey; five grandchildren and extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Virginia for all the care and support during this time.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 in Black Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Inman officiating. The burial with full military honors will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church one hour prior to the service and suggests memorial donations be made to Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or to Carolyn Casey.
