DALEVILLE – Dr. Patsy Rainey Joyner, 81, passed away Monday, Nov. 25, 2024 at home. Patsy was a graduate of Windsor High School, Paul D. Camp Community College, Old Dominion University and The College of William & Mary, where she received a doctorate in higher education administration.
Left to cherish her legacy is her daughter, Pattie Joyner Lee of Daleville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, many special nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her brother, Ryland R Rainey Jr.
There will be a celebration of life service for Dr. Patsy Rainey Joyner on Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 p.m. at Courtland United Methodist Church in Courtland, with a reception to follow.
