FRANKLIN – Reverend Gertrude N. Goode of Southampton County, Virginia passed away on Jan. 7, 2025. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 – 7 p.m. A celebration of life will be Monday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. at Move of God Ministries, 221 South Main Street in Franklin with Dr. Cheryl Sanders delivering the message of comfort; Apostle Tyrone Hart is the pastor. The committal and benediction will follow in Haywood Family Cemetery. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 South Main Street in Franklin. P
