NEWSOMS – Melvina R. Cross, 50, of Thomaston Road, Newsoms, transitioned on Jan. 12, 2025 in Chesapeake Regional Hospital. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 – 7 p.m. On Monday, Jan. 20, a celebration of life will be held at noon at El Bethel Deliverance Center, 4324 Holland Road in Suffolk with the pastor, Bishop Freda Cross delivering the eulogy. The committal and benediction will follow in White Oak Spring Cemetery in Courtland, Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M.
