FRANKLIN – Deacon Herbert S. Beasley Sr. of Holly Cove Street, Franklin, transitioned on Jan. 20, 2025 in his home. A public viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 3 – 7 p.m. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 1415 Rosewood Avenue in Franklin the Rev. Robert Taylor delivering the eulogy. Dr. Anthony L. Goodwyn Sr. is the pastor. The committal and benediction will follow in Southampton Memorial Park. Service provided by the professional and caring staff of Wm. M. Johnson & Sons Funeral Home Inc., 224 South Main Street in Franklin.
