NSA gets 13-6 conference win

VIRGINIA BEACH—Nansemond-Suffolk won its Tidewater Conference opener Friday night, beating Norfolk Christian 13-6 in Virginia Beach.
After a scoreless first half, NSA senior Ryan May scored on a 29-yard touchdown run and a Bobby Lamm extra point put NSA up 7-0 in the third quarter.
The Ambassadors scored in the period, but missed the extra point, leaving the Saints up by a point.
Another 29-yard touchdown run by May made it 13-6 in the fourth quarter.
NSA (1-2, 1-0) plays at Bishop Sullivan Catholic next Saturday afternoon.
