To the Editor:

I would like to mention that I have been in a number of hospitals in Hampton Roads in the past four months.

I have been a patient in Southampton Memorial Hospital several times in East Pavilion/Skilled Care. I have had the best service and attention at this hospital.

I want to thank all of my nurses, caregivers and doctors, and especially Dr. Donald Bowling.

In my opinion we are very blessed to have a community hospital such as Southampton Memorial in our community.

Also, I would like to thank everyone for their support, cards, phone calls, visits, gifts and prayers. I am now home and feel much better.
