FRANKLIN—Despite the fact that she’s been back in town helping out at the Franklin Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Sheryl Frazier, the former executive director, is still “very employed” in Georgia.

Frazier headed the FRHA for nearly four years before leaving to take a job as the executive director of the Housing Authority in Warner Robins, Ga. However, when Deborah Rowe, who replaced Frazier as the executive director of the FRHA, resigned last month, the Board of Commissioners asked Frazier to help out on a part-time basis.

“I’m still very employed in Warner Robins,” she said over the telephone this week. She added that she recently signed a new four-year contract with the Housing Authority in Warner Robins.

“This is temporary,” Frazier said of her arrangement with the FRHA, adding that she’ll probably be in town twice a month until a new director is named.
