BOYKINS—A 23-year-old man was shot in the leg at 7 p.m. Sunday in Boykins, Southampton County Sheriff’s Office reported.

The man, who was not identified, suffered non-life threatening injuries, said department spokeswoman Jody Brown.

Deputies received a call for shots fired in the 18000 block of Beaton Avenue. A white Buick, green Dodge Neon and a white vehicle with 30-day temporary tags were allegedly said to be involved, the sheriff’s office reported.
