ISLE OF WIGHT—Isle of Wight Academy Junior Shelby Jurewicz pitched her first high school no-hitter during a 15-0 win over Metro Athletic Conference foe Portsmouth Christian on Friday.

Jurewicz also struck out five batters during the five-inning game.

Eighth-grader Trish Webb went three-for-three with a double, four RBIs and four runs scored for the winners. Teammate Hailey Glover, a junior, went two-for-four with a double and two RBIs.

The Lady Chargers will travel to Hampton Roads Academy for a 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, game.
