EMPORIA—Franklin eighth-grader Kendall Butler scored three goals in the junior varsity Bronco soccer team’s 7-3 win over Greensville Tuesday.

Freshman Adam Grant added two goals and sophomores Jason Nguyen and Bryce Shelley scored one each.

The squad improved to 2-1.

The varsity game was postponed due to lightning.
