COURTLAND—Southampton Academy senior Chelsea Speight pitched a one-hitter during Friday’s 10-1 non-conference softball win over Peninsula Christian.

Speight struck out seven to improve her season record to 4-0.

Senior Skylar Goodman went two-for-four, including a double and one RBI, and scored two runs. Junior Kate Wachsmann went two-for-two with one RBI.

Senior Beth Waller had two stolen bases and senior Rachel Holland and eight-grader Ashten Hinkle added one each.
