MURFREESBORO, N.C.– Willie G. Spencer, 90, of Murfreesboro died Sunday, April 1, 2012.

A funeral was held Friday at Parker’s Grove Baptist Church in Mapleton, N.C., followed by burial in the Eley Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Spencer was employed for more than 30 years by Duke University Hospital Systems and the Veterans Administrations Hospital in Durham, N.C.

Among her survivors is a sister, Sarah G. Holley of Murfreesboro.

Hertford County Undertakers of Winton, N.C., was in charge of arrangements.
