Capps finished with seven saves for Southampton.

The game was the final home game of the season for Southampton, which honored its seniors and their parents. Seniors included Capps, Jessica Watson, Katie Bryant, Amanda Ellis, Taylor Prince, Carla Matthews, Kelly Wiggins and Kristen Wiggins.

The two teams play again at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Powhatan High School.
