Carpenter-Gamble

Ashlee Nicole Carpenter of Sunbeam and Alexander Michael Gamble of Austin, Texas, were married at 1 p.m. Sept. 10, 2010, in the Washington, D.C., Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
The bride’s parents are Tracey L. and Phillip H. Carpenter of Sunbeam.
The bride’s maternal parents are Betty L. Olson of Las Vegas and the late Dale R. Olson. Her paternal grandparents are the late Phyllis W. and Fred Carpenter.
The groom’s parents are TiLiAnne and Tim Tanner of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Shawn and Helen Gamble of Austin.
His maternal grandparents are Francine Adel Griffiths of Santa Rosa and Robert Wayne Griffiths of Concord, Calif. His paternal grandparents are the late Clair Lucy Kidd Gamble and Donald M. Gamble.
The bride wore a white, satin and lace ball gown with beaded bodice and full-length cathedral train and veil.
Maid of honor was Jayne Kandare, a friend from Franklin.
Bridesmaids were Emily Moore and Chloe Kandare, both friends from Franklin.
The bridesmaids wore tea-length, sky blue, satin dresses with white bolero jackets, and carried white lace parasols.
The bride and bridesmaids carried simple bouquets of pink calla lilies wrapped in sky blue satin ribbon.
Best man was Jason Gamble of Santa Rosa, brother of the groom.
A reception was held in Franklin on Sept. 11. Flowers for the reception were arranged by Bambi Councill.
Two wedding showers were given for the bride. One by Bambi Councill and Pam Wiggins. Another by the Young Women of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
The new Mrs. Gamble graduated high school through Liahona Academy Distance Education program and will take college courses through University of Maryland University College in January.
Her husband graduated from Smithville High School in Texas and Dixie State College in St. George, Utah, with an associate’s of science degree. He will graduate with a bachelor of arts in communications next spring from University of Maryland University College. He has been in the U.S. Navy for six years.
After a short honeymoon in Colonial Williamsburg, the couple will reside on the island of Crete, Greece, for the next year, at which time they will await a new duty station assignment from the Navy.
