COURTLAND—Southampton Academy pitcher Jacob Holland gave up two hits during the Raiders’ 5-4 conference win over Fuqua 5-4.

The Raiders improved to 11-2 and 4-2 in the Virginia Commonwealth Conference.

SA scored four runs in the second inning from a double by Holland.

Wesley Barnes scored in the third inning after hitting a double.

Fuqua gained two runs in the top of the fourth inning and two additional runs in the top of the seventh.

Tonee Hill, who pitched the last three innings, got the save.

SA will play First Baptist Christian at 4:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, in Courtland.
