RICHMOND—Essie K. Hatcher of Richmond died Oct. 31, 2010.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, 1902 Rosewood Ave., Richmond. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Survivors include sisters, the Rev. Shirley Foster, Dorothy Townsell and SFC (Ret.) Virginia Williams;  brother, Robert Knight Jr.,  aunts Velma Richardson and Magnolia Bynum; stepmother Sarah Knight; stepsister, Kathy Johnson; and stepbrother Robert Eley Jr.
