How’s Business? I won’t complain. With the various services I provide, there’s always something to do. It may not always be as much as I want, but I thank God for the work I receive.
One thing you wish everyone knew about your business: We offer hometown service, and we treat customers like they are important and appreciated and not like a number.
Something you offer that a customer won’t find elsewhere: I will give you what you ask for, but if I know of a more economical way, I will work in your best interest.
Advice to young entrepreneurs: Always have someone in your life to provide good counsel and to bounce ideas off of.
Your first Job: Yard work
Your role model (in business or in life generally): I have several role models in my life, especially in business. But my uncle, Lemuel Williams, and my mother, Ellen Smith, have been the most influential. I wish I could name everyone who has been instrumental to me, because I appreciate everything everyone has imparted in my life.
The key to a successful business is: Always be willing to learn and keep an open mind to constructive criticism and use it as a learning tool. Always be open to new and innovative ideas. Remember, people’s opinions DO matter!
